Avoiding and Overcoming Burnout
At the May 2009 VHCF Nurse Practitioner Roundtable, Dr. Colleen Kivlahan presented Listening So We Can HEAR, Talking So We Can Be HEARD: How to Avoid Burnout.
Dr. Kivlahan is the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Medical Director for Innovation, SchallerAnderson/Aetna, Inc. Her background includes a wealth of experience in the health safety net including volunteer work with Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic in Herndon, Virginia and St Vincent de Paul Homeless Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
