Virginia Health Care Foundation

The Virginia Health Workforce Development Initiative (VHWDI) is working to help facilitate the development of a competent, quality health workforce that meets the primary health care needs of all Virginians. The initiative is intended to design a statewide health professions “pipeline” and a diverse, well-distributed and adequate workforce. It will be issuing Regional Planning and Implementation Grants to help achieve its mission in communities across Virginia.

Applicants must include an organization that attended the mandatory pre-proposal workshop in Richmond on January 31st.
