In order to evaluate as many approaches to delivering care as possible, the Foundation funds a wide variety of innovative service delivery models. The projects VHCF has helped support include pro bono mental health clinics, rural health programs, dental clinics, transportation initiatives, and a host of special free clinic and community health center primary care initiatives.
Each of the projects which the Foundation funds in this category must demonstrate an innovative approach to delivering primary care services, and reflect the primary health care needs of the community it serves. |
