Stony Creek Community Health Center

With funds from VHCF, Stony Creek Community Health Center added a new physician to their staff in an effort to boost the number of providers in Sussex County, a health professional shortage area. This physician is the second physician in this quickly growing practice.

In a single year, the additional physician provided more than 4,500 patient visits to over 1,300 patients. Aiding the Center's ability to serve Sussex County residents, the center recently upgraded and expanded its facility, adding three additional exam rooms.
