Dr. Algeier grew up in rural Charlotte County and taught at the local high school before attending medical school. After she became a physician, Dr. Algeier returned home to serve the uninsured and underserved at Charlotte Primary Care (CPC).
During her 2 ½ years at CPC, Dr. Algeier has provided care to 3,629 patients. Beyond her job responsibilities, she is an enthusiastic participant in community events. She has worked to establish an affordable day care center for this underserved community, and a foundation to help cancer patients with the costs of care.
