Pamela V. Moore-Barr
Richmond Area High Blood Pressure Center

Pamela Moore-Barr is a medical assistant, who has been an integral part of RAHBPC since its first year of operation 23 years ago. As the only original staff member, Pam is the “glue which holds the center together.” She helps manage patients, reviews medical charts with staff, collects needed statistical information, solicits drug samples, and mentors 12 – 15 students a semester.

The patients are at the center of Pam’s heart. She is the ultimate patient advocate, helping those in the midst of difficult times.

“No one at the Center has a greater personal commitment to the mission of RAHBPC. She embodies continuity, stability, and caring.”
