When Health Care on the Square in downtown Boydton decided to undertake a major historic renovation involving three buildings that had been damaged by flood, fire, and neglect, they were very lucky that they hired David Peacock to do the job.

David managed every aspect of the multi-year project, which resulted in a new community health center, tackling each problem with tenacity and dedication. When the project took much longer than expected and there was no more money to pay him, David donated his time and professional services to complete the job. This gift of services, worth $67,500, is especially noteworthy because David doesn’t live in, or anywhere near, Boydton. His home is four hours away in Northern Virginia!

His staunch commitment, vision and generosity “Health Care on the Square” to downtown Boydton in Southside Virginia. Thanks to David, the dream is now a reality. Health Care on the Square is open for business, providing medical care, and housing a full service pharmacy, a fitness center, a dental clinic, and mental health services.
