As the Medical Director of the Primary Care Mobile Unit, Dr. Rebecca Sinclair has been instrumental in turning the vision of the van into a reality. She created and implemented all operating procedures, devised a process for physician referrals, and implemented a system for patients to receive donated lab and radiological studies.

Dr. Sinclair is driven by a deep commitment to her patients. When the van broke down and was declared “beyond repair” last year, she quickly found a temporary site within a local community center to ensure continuous service. Despite the program’s challenges, last year it provided 2,310 patient visits and served 1,304 persons. This would not have happened without Dr. Sinclair’s hard work and dedication.
