Nominate an Unsung Hero
VHCF is now accepting nominations for its 2012 Unsung Hero Awards. These awards recognize outstanding efforts that have substantially benefitted various VHCF projects and their patients/clients. They will be presented at the Foundation’s Heroes in Health Care celebration in the Spring.
In addition to receiving recognition and an award at the event, each winner’s organization receives a $2,000 check made possible by the Virginia Association of Health Plans.
We invite our current and former grantees to nominate someone who has made a real difference for your project. Please choose from one of the following categories:
- Volunteer
- Donor
- Physician
- Teamwork
- Employee
An independent panel of judges will review all nominations and select a winner in each category. The winners will receive their special Unsung Hero Awards at VHCF’s Heroes in Health Care luncheon this Spring.
Review the eligibility process and nomination form and start identifying your project’s Unsung Hero today. Nominations are due January 26, 2012.
