Medication Assistance Program of the Piedmont
Medication Assistance Program of the Piedmont (MAPP) is a partnership that includes five service sites in Southside Virginia. With the assistance of VHCF funds from the Commonwealth of Virginia, the community partners of MAPP have hired medication assistance case workers who use The Pharmacy Connection to help access free medications for uninsured individuals.
Since the program started in October 2004, MAPP has provided $13 million in free medications to area residents.
