Peninsula Institute for Community Health
As a VHCF Project Connect grantee, PICH is helping enroll eligible, uninsured children from Hampton, Newport News and Suffolk in the state-sponsored health insurance programs for children, FAMIS and FAMIS Plus. Project Connect grants are made possible with funding from the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services and the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation.

Peninsula Institute for Community Health
With a RxRelief Virginia grant from Virginia Health Care Foundation, Peninsula Institute for Community Health expanded its Medication Assistance Program by hiring an additional full-time Medication Assistance Caseworker (MAC). The additional MAC assists eligible individuals primarily from Hampton Roads, enabling them to access free medications from pharmaceutical companies’ patient assistance programs via VHCF’s Pharmacy Connection software.

People, Inc. of Southwest Virginia
VHCF has helped People, Inc. of Southwest Virginia expand both children's health care and dental care. One VHCF grant funded establishment of a mobile dental program, while a second grand helped expand enrollment in the Child Health Investment Program to Buchanan and Dickenson counties.

Petersburg Health Care Alliance
VHCF funding enabled the Crater Health District Adult Medical Clinic to serve more than 1,500 medically indigent adults in the Petersburg area. Since VHCF's involvement, the program has transitioned into the Petersburg Health Care Alliance and continues to serve those in need of general medical services.

Piedmont Access to Health Services
With help of RxRelief Virginia funding from VHCF, Piedmont Access to Health Services (PATHS) expanded its Southside Virginia MEDAssist Program. These funds supported the hiring of and additional 2.5 Medication Assistance Caseworkers (MACs); adding to the 2.5 existing MACs. MACs help eligible individuals primarily from Danville and Pittsylvania County with accessing free medications from pharmaceutical companies’ patient assistance programs utilizing VHCF’s Pharmacy Connection software.

Piedmont Access to Health Services
Through an A New Lease on Life grant, patients at Piedmont Access to Health Services (PATHS) are able to receive basic mental health services and prescription medications. The grant also provides specialized support for complex cases as well as medication management assistance via Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services psychiatrist consult.

Portsmouth Adult Care Clinic
