This forward-thinking health center and its two satellite offices have fully committed to integrating their medical, dental, and mental health services to the highest degree possible. This includes everything from “morning huddles”, visits from the tooth fairy, and special techniques to summon and engage mental health clinicians when a patient receiving any service needs counseling or an intervention.

The center’s diabetic patients experience this integrated approach to ensure they have the medical, dental and mental health treatment they need plus care coordination. This has dramatically increased the percent of the center’s diabetic patients who now have controlled their diabetes.
