The leaders and staff of the Virginia Health Care Foundation are committed to:
- Act honestly, truthfully and with integrity in all transactions and dealings.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and strive to the appropriate handling of actual or apparent conflicts of interest in our relationships.
- Treat VHCF grantees fairly, and to treat every individual with dignity and respect.
- Treat VHCF employees with respect, fairness and good faith and to provide conditions of employment that recognize their rights and diversity and enhance their welfare.
- Be good corporate citizens, and to comply with both the spirit and the letter of the law.
- Act responsibly toward the communities in which VHCF works, and for the benefit of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Good stewardship of VHCF resources, and those of our donors.
- Be responsible, transparent, and accountable for all of our actions.
- Improve the accountability, transparency, ethical conduct, and effectiveness of the nonprofit field.
